Meet Angie Tucker, CPA, MBA

Angie Tucker is a proud North Carolinian, born and raised in Concord and a graduate of Catawba College in Salisbury. Growing up on a small farm, she developed an early appreciation for community — and a clear-eyed understanding of the challenges business owners face when they're trying to build something from the ground up.
That perspective has shaped everything about the way she works.
With 20 years of experience spanning both private and public accounting, Angie has worked alongside businesses of every size from large legal firms to small single-owner health agencies. She honed her public accounting expertise at a large regional firm on the Space Coast of Florida, where she provided technical accounting services to defense contractors and engineering clients. That range of experience means she brings both depth and adaptability to every client relationship.
She founded Penciled In Accounting because she believed there was a better way to serve small business owners - one built on trust, transparency, and the kind of personal attention you simply can't get from a large firm.
When she's not in the books, Angie enjoys a good sci-fi series, caring for her indoor plant collection, anything involving dessert, and making trips to Florida to visit her son, a talented violinist.
